Friends normally call their friends by their names. Mine calls me by my surname. Most if not all.

It doesn't matter how many times I told them to call me by my name. It applies to colleagues as well.

They always ended up calling me by my surname.

To be more precise, they call me "Miss [my surname]".

I've given up wondering why. I got fed up with it.

Am I unfriendly?

What? My name doesn't suit me?

Why is it so hard for them to call my name?

Am I so unapproachable?

Do I bite?
